Raj Jaswa is Managing Partner of Jaswa & Company, a management consulting company dedicated to helping early stage technology companies become successful. He currently serves as an outside director of Selectica Inc, Jareva Inc, and Appstream Inc. Jaswa is a co-founder of Selectica Inc, a leader in enterprise configuration software for complex products and services, with customers such as Cisco, Dell, GE, and BMW.
He also served as CEO and President of Selectica from its inception in 1996 through July 2002. Through January 1996, Jaswa served as President of OPTi Inc, which he co-founded in 1988, leading the sales, marketing, and strategy/ business development efforts. Opti was then the world's largest supplier of PC-compatible chipsets, with a customer base including nearly all of the top-tier computer manufacturers. Earlier in his career, Jaswa worked for Chips & Technologies, Intel, and GE. Jaswa has a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai, an M.S.E.E. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and an M.B.A. from Stetson University, Deland, Florida.
Raj Jaswa is the President of TiE Silicon Valley, the largest nonprofit dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship. He was elected in 2003 and re-elected in 2005, and will step down upon reaching the term limit in 2008.
