Abhishek Bachchan is being regarded at present one of the very few actors of Bollywood who has come to rock the stage and rule the industry for years. To many since he is the ward of the first family of the film industry, that provides him with an added advantage. However, it is true that though he initiated his career in 2000, it was not until 2004 that he rose into prominence and became able to earn luarels from the Indian audience.
Having born on 5th February, 1976 in Mumbai to Maharashtra to Amitabh Bacchan and Jaya Bhaduri, he has been groomed within the periphery of the film industry from a very early age. It is futile to talk about Sri Amitabh Bacchan, the living legend of the Indian Film Industry but to be very precise in the development of Abhishek as a man and a film actor the greatest influence has ben of his father’s. His mother is also regarded as one of the classic actresses that contributed to the industry. He had his schooling at Jamnabai Narsee School and the Bombay Scottish School in Mumbai. His next destination was the Unied States to pursue his education at the Berkley College but owing to his intense desire in acting and since being supported by his father, Amitabh Bacchan he stopped studying business in the United States. He came back to India hurriedly and make his debut while joining the film fraternity.
He made his film debut in the film Refugee of J.P.Dutta along with scion of the iluusrious Raj Kapoor- family Kareena Kapoor in 2000. Howver, the film was not considered a success for its failure to create a stir in the box office. But being a man of strong nerves he did not lose hope or opted for obscurity. In these span of your years he went of rectfyting and assessing himslef and acted in a good number of movies but without any major box-office successes.
The year 2004 appeared and proved for him some better. It was in the film Yuva, that his acting skills were crticised on a larger scale scion resulting him to earn accolade. His intense effort to make the central character Lallan lively and his astounding performance earned for him the best supporting acor award in the male category in the Filmfare Award. In 2005 he was shot to fame for four consecutive hits, like the Bunty aur Babli, Sarkar, Dus and Bluffmaster. In additon, he won the Best Supporting Actor in Male Category for his role in Sarkar. This eventual success is fllowd by his brilliant performances in other films like Kabhi Avida Naa Kehna , direcotr Mani ratnam’s stage show like Netru, Indru, Naalaia long with other actors. His third release in 2007 is Dhoom II, a sequel to his first hit Dhoom, a great superhit movie.
He has recently been married to another top ranking actess, Aishwarya Rai. There was a side specuialtion in the media, but however his specualtion was announced on January, 14, 2007 and on April 20, 2007 he has been married to her following the Hindu rites.
